چکیده

A new nanocatalyst which comprises gold particles (average size = (2.5 ± 1.3) nm) supported on intrinsically conductive polyaniline (PANI) was prepared via a sol-method. This Au/PANI catalyst was used for the first time in hydrogenation of the , -unsaturated aldehyde citral exhibiting high activity (93% conversion) and selectivity (76%) towards the products of C=O group hydrogenation, geraniol and nerol, whereas the selectivity towards the product of the hydrogenation of the conjugated C=C bond (citronellal) is rather low (23%).

Highly Sensitive Amperometric Sensor Based on Gold Nanoparticles Polyaniline Electrochemically Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite for Detection of Nitric Oxide

A sensitive electrochemical sensor was fabricated for selective detection of nitric oxide (NO) based on electrochemically reduced graphene (ErGO)-polyaniline (PANI)-gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) nanocomposite. It was coated on a gold (Au) electrode through stepwise electrodeposition to form AuNPs-PANI-ErGO/Au electrode. The AuNPs-PANI-rGO nanocomposite was characterized by Field Emission Scanning ...

CO oxidation over Au/TiO2 prepared from metal-organic gold complexes

Although the early publications by Bond et al. [1,2] and Parravano et al. [3,4] reported that small gold particles exhibited catalytic activity for some reactions, such as hydrogenation of olefins and oxygen transfer reactions, gold was generally considered to be catalytically inactive [5]. Over the past 20 years, the volume of literature on the application of gold catalysts has been steadily i...

Heterogeneous selective hydrogenation of ethylene carbonate to methanol and ethylene glycol over a copper chromite nanocatalyst.

Heterogeneous selective hydrogenation of ethylene carbonate (EC), a key step in indirect conversion of CO2, was realized over a copper chromite nanocatalyst prepared via a hydrothermal method followed by calcination. The selectivities towards methanol (60%) and ethylene glycol (93%) were higher than those achieved over other usual hydrogenation catalysts.

Selective production of light olefins from methanol over desilicated highly siliceous ZSM-5 nanocatalysts

Highly siliceous ZSM-5 nanocatalysts can dehydrate methanol to a wide range of hydrocarbons. In this study, the development of hierarchical H-ZSM-5 nanocatalysts (Si/Al=200) were reported for the methanol-toolefins (MTO) reaction. The nanocatalysts were prepared through a hydrothermal technique and treated by NaOH desilication. The parent and desilicated nanocatalysts were characterized using F...
